Many Thanks!
On behalf of all the students, parents, faculty, and board members of Carroll Lutheran School, we would like to thank everyone from consignors to volunteers to shoppers for participating in our 8th Annual Consignment Sale!
This year definitely proved to be a challenging one, with two back-to-back, record-breaking storms dumping in excess of four feet of snow onto the region. The weather forced us to postpone our sale from February 6th to the following Saturday, February 13th. For those who consigned, your proceeds check will arrive in the mail the week of March 15th.
Whether the snow or the change in date resulted in you not being able to participate, we sincerely apologize and we missed you. For those who were able to participate in the sale, we thank you. Despite all the obstacles, we had a successful sale where many shoppers were all too happy to get out of their houses and find some great bargains. Here are some of the comments we received about the sale:
"This is my first time doing your consignment sale ...I just wanted to commend everyone involved!! Everything was sooo organized! Getting notices about date changes, picking up tags, dropping off items, as well as picking up....Thank you for the opportunity." - A. Wunder
"Kudos on the consignment still being a success given the weather and road/parking conditions. I had never been a consignor before and thought that the drop-off process was amazingly smooth and quick!" - S. Johnson
Thank you to everyone for your continued support of Carroll Lutheran School. The funds we raise go directly to improving the school’s facility and educational advancements. We hope to see you at next year’s sale, scheduled for Saturday February 12, 2011!
