CLS welcomes Pastor Ann Dentry, PhD, as a School Chaplain this year. Pastor Ann recently received her doctoral degree from the University of Toronto and returned to the area to serve as Interim Pastor at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mount Airy.
Calvary Lutheran Church has generously funded for Pastor Ann to spend 4 hours each week at CLS, where she is maintaining the Chaplain schedule for our weekly Chapel Services (filling in when needed), working with teachers to deliver our faith studies program, and applying her background/interest as a naturalist to help develop some environmental sciences curriculum for students. Her energy and enthusiasm are truly a blessing to our community!
