Students Donate, Bake Up $539.64 for Haitian Relief! |

 Through a variety of efforts, the students of Carroll Lutheran School were able to collect $539.64 which they donated to the American Red Cross for Haitian relief efforts.
Hearing of the plight of the people in Haiti, the students sprung into action, with the Student Government Association holding a coin drive in each classroom and the fourth grade students holding a lunchtime Bake Sale. Principal Buck Jones commented:
“we are so proud of our students for being compassionate and reaching out to others in need. It encourages us that we are being successful as educators in reinforcing those qualities which will be important to carry them through life.”
