Effective February 1, 2010, CLS will make its own decisions regarding school closings. These decisions closely follow Carroll County Schools--especially during storms and immediately afterwards. After storms are over, there may be several days of public school cancellations to allow time for the public schools to clear parking lots and sidewalks and make the bus stops safe. However, during this cleanup time we often can be open for school. Therefore, Principal Bronson Jones has been authorized by the Board of Trustees to make exceptions and open CLS when storms have cleared and our road and parking lot are cleared. This allows us the flexibility of having school (and not using snow days) while the public schools are still doing cleanup.Upcoming Events
