 The CLS Student Government Association (SGA) includes middle school students in Grades 6 through 8. SGA runs the school store and ice cream sales and carries out various service-oriented projects each year that benefit the student body and school as well as local charities.

During the month of October, elections were held for SGA officers. Congratulations to the following students for being voted into office for the 2009-2010 School Year:
President - Sarah Lance
Vice President - Hailey Wright
Secretary - Emily Johnston
Treasurer - Brett Hackett
6th Grade Representative - Carliana Folfas
7th Grade Representative - Madison Baber
8th Grade Representative - Jake Johnson
School Store
The SGA operates the school store throughout the year. Students are invited by grade to visit the store at various times during the week. Proceeds are used for any of the SGA's service projects.
Ice Cream Sales
The SGA handles ice cream bar sales each Thursday after lunch. Ice cream is available for 60 cents to all students.
