Purpose

The Family Partnership Program (FPP) was formed to foster communication between parents and teachers as well as provide mutual support and assistance. All parents of children at Carroll Lutheran School are members and are strongly encouraged to attend all meetings held throughout the year and be active members. The FPP is involved in organizing volunteers, fundraising, sharing educational information, meeting particular needs of the school as well as building fellowship within our community.

At Carroll Lutheran School, we invite family participation to build a strong community spirit through social activities, fundraising, and in daily help at the school. Each of you has special talents and gifts that would be beneficial to the school community and we call on you to share those gifts with us.

FPP holds meetings every month that school is in session (September - May). Meetings are currently held at 6:30 in the school cafeteria. FREE licensed childcare is provided by ABC Care and we try to keep the meetings to one hour. Bring the kids and get involved to help the school!

2009 - 2010 Year in Review

In the 2009-2010 School Year, the FPP logged many accomplishments, despite a down economy. Here are just a few:

• Held the 8^th annual Kids Consignment Sale was held in February 2010 (despite two blizzards), bringing in $8,260.00 along with $2,400.00 in Thrivent matching funds.
• Held the 9^th annual Basket Bingo in March, bringing in $8,481.00 along with $1,600.00 in Thrivent matching funds.
• Held many successful ongoing fundraisers throughout the year such as Restaurant Nights, Box Tops, Gianni's Pizza Sales and Art Fundraisers.
• Funded development of the new school website, the mobile Science Lab, school buses for field trips, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
• Purchased the new Mobile Computer Lab and contributed $4,000 to the Tuition Assistance Fund.
• And so much more...thanks to our wonderful parents and supportive staff!
