Greetings from Carroll Lutheran School!

Since we opened our doors in the Fall of 2000, Carroll Lutheran School has provided a quality faith-based education for children. From the 37 children in K-3 our first year we’ve grown to over 125 students in grades K-8 at the present time.

In 2007, we relocated to our new facility in quiet Frizzelburg, Maryland. Our current capacity is 180 so we have still more room to grow.

When I retired from Carroll County Public Schools several years ago I knew I still had the energy and desire to work with kids. I had always enjoyed working with children very much and liked interacting with them. It was with that in mind that, when the opportunity arose, I came to Carroll Lutheran School. I look at that now as God’s intervention in my life.

Since coming to CLS, I’ve enjoyed watching the school improve and grow. The teachers are of high quality and are a pleasure to work with. The children are top-notch and always seem to have a smile on their faces. Hugs and kind words from them are always the order of the day. In addition, I’ve found the parents to be caring and supportive. It is seldom that we not have a parent in the school supporting education in one way or another. All of this has resulted in a quality little school where children receive a quality faith-based education.

I’m proud to be a part of the friendly, caring, and nurturing atmosphere at CLS. I know this is where God wants me to be!
