How are school conduct/discipline issues handled?

We strive to teach and foster self-discipline for the well-being of the student as well as the school community to create a Christian atmosphere for learning. Teachers, parents, and students need to work cooperatively to assure success in this area.

Conduct within each classroom is monitored by teachers who use age-appropriate methods of helping students to self-monitor their behavior. More serious disciplinary matters may require consultation with the School Prinicipal, who may contact the parents and/or require a followup conference to deal with the issue. Behavior that threatens the property, health, learning environment, or safety of others will be handled in a series of progressive steps that may limit school attendance.
